These dog and duck friends will prove that animals do not pick friends by their looks.

Animals have the best friends in the world. They don’t care about the species or looks when choosing friends.

Meet Barclay the golden retriever and Pekin duck Rudy who is just 4 years old. They will teach you what real friendship is.

This friendship had a bumpy start when Barclay discovered how tasty the stolen duck chow is.
Rudy was the alpha duck of his group. He would chase Barclay away from it. But soon, Barclay became a frequent visitor. The Sooner they became best friends.

The owner Pam Ishiguro says that they are always chasing somebody when they are together. But when they are apart they are always calling for each other.

Now their friendship has developed into a healthy relationship. Everybody is getting something out of it. They are cuddling and playing together.

Barclay likes to drink their bathwater. If he happens to be stealthy he loves to sniff a little duck butt! Also, Rudy becomes a fan of dog climbing.

Rudy and Barclay need each other. They are like brothers from another mother. Their unusual friendship has given them much more luck for them to have someone special.
