No matter which species is it, a mother always will be a mother. Mother’s love is one of the most powerful senses in nature. Animal moms are also attached to their youngers as humans do. This koala mom-baby duo is going to prove it.

After an accident, this mother koala got badly injured. Thankfully a group of volunteers rescued her and her baby just in time. Mother Lizzie and her baby Phantom were transferred to the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital.

While the little Koala was fine and unharmed, mother koala was in a critical condition due to her injuries. She had to undergo surgery to save her life.

The little 6 months years’ old baby even stayed with his mom’s side during the surgery. It was a heartwarming moment. The vet realized that it would be best to let them stick to each other. Because together they provide each other comfort and also splitting them could easily traumatize them and make them anxious.

Kolas are native to Australia and are pretty social animals. The only bond they have is, that between babies and their moms. It is a heart-touching moment to see and the bond between them is incredible.
