This loving English bulldog named Nelson goes to work with his mom Conny Steyaert. Steyaert is a woman’s clothing vendor in outdoor markets and street festivals in Belgium. She started to bring her dog with her to get rid of his anxiety at bay when he was little. He is a very sensitive dog. He chills every time at home, but he doesn’t prefer to be alone at home. He is happier when he is outdoors.
Steyaert decided to set Nelson up with his blanket in front of her stand while she is working. So he could sit comfortably and keep in touch with the surroundings. Within a few times, he realized that the spot he sits grabs the attention of shoppers walking by. When he lifts his paw to shake with people he steals their hearts too with love.
He does it daily. Also, the people walk by pet him daily. Steyaert was also surprised when she saw the behavior of people. She never thought that pedestrians would pet a stranger’s dog so often.
Many of them don’t forget to take pictures with him. They always appreciate the beautiful and sweet dog. Some would even bring treats to him.
Even though he meets new people at work every day, he has made some best friends over the years. His mom also had become a noticeable character. People recognize her through Nelson.
Sometimes he brings smiles to strangers’ faces. Once he was petted by a girl who had her bulldog passed away recently. She cried and was happy after petting him.
While Nelson draws in customers his relationship with his mom thrives the most. He is her best friend who changed her life!
