On a wet, rainy and gloomy day about two weeks ago in Brazil, Mayane Rodrigues encountered this beautiful incident outside the window of her apartment. In a distance on the street below, the woman noticed a young girl stopping on the sidewalk going home after school. The little girl put down her umbrella, and then took off her backpack and then her jacket.
Only then, did the woman notice a soppy wet stray pup at the girl’s feet. Rodrigues realized at that moment that the pup was going to be adopted by that little girl. So let’s see what happened next: The woman watched as the little girl scooped up the pup and cradled it in her arms and went on her merry way. To Mayane, the little girl was an angel.
In an interview, the woman had this to say: “It all happened so quickly. It was very emotional. I sent the video to a friend who, shared it to a neighborhood group, and then I found out who the angel was.” The little girl is 12-year-old Cibely Stiegelmair, and that day, this little girl, saved a life. Rejane Stiegelmair, Cibely’s mom, said this in an interview: “I was startled when she arrived with the puppy because she was very sweaty and wet from the rain. There was blood on her shirt. I thought she had been hurt, but she told me she found the puppy injured.”
Luckily, the puppy wasn’t as badly hurt as the girl had thought nothing that a little love and care couldn’t take care of. After seeing the puppy out in the rain, all alone, the little girl knew that she had to take it home and look after it. Rejane also had this to say: “Cibely has a very good heart. She feels very sorry for stray dogs. If she could bring them all home, she would.”
After taking the dog home, the girl named it Pretinha, and the entire family welcomed it with open arms. Although no one knew how the pup was stranded on the wet sidewalk that day, because of Cibely, the pup’s future is going to be a happy and brighter. Her mom also had this to say: “As parents, we are proud of Cibely and always have been. But now we’re even more so!”
