This story is about a brave dog friend who decided to take an ultimate risk for love and friendship.
A few years back, there was a huge explosion causing a fire to break out in a building in Ukraine. Extreme flames and thick smoke engulfed the surrounding area including a few homes that were nearby.
This caused the residents to rush out of their homes. They had only enough time for them to collect their most valuable possession and their family pets. When one of the residents released his dog from the front yard, instead of following him to safety, the pup ran straight into the fire. The resident stood there dumbstruck not sure what to do as he was unable to follow the pup into the fires as it was too dangerous.
As he watched his home burning, he hoped that his pup would return and before long he saw a familiar shadow emerge from his home. The pup was not alone.
The pup emerged from the fire holding a kitten in his mouth. It was unable to grab on their way out. They were the best friends who spent many of their days hanging out and playing together.
The pup’s first instinct when he was released was to save his best friend. Not himself. What a hero!
