Every mother in this world is the same. Doesn’t matter it’s a human or an animal. This story is about a stray dog mom and her maternal care for her puppies.
This dog mother is a stray black pit bull and she gave birth helpless, and alone on the street. She was noticed by Stephanie while she was crossing the street. She was running while one of her puppies was hanged on her mouth.
Poor mother needed someone to help her. But she didn’t know how to do it. Stephanie quickly called the rescuers and explained the situation. The team drove to the pace where the mother dog was hidden and it was next to Stephanie’s house.
The team found the stray dog and her puppies under a bush against the wall. She curled around her newborn puppies. The young dog mom seemed like she didn’t trust the helpers at the moment. She growled at everyone who tried to approach. She was ready to do everything to protect her babies.
Rescuers worked very carefully and soon they could manage to get the dog on a leash.
They drove to the local veterinarian and leave the 6 puppies and the mother there. It was the safest place they can live under the protection and care of kind people. They also promised Stephanie that they will keep in touch with her.
The young mother seemed scared still. The rescuers gave her a warm and comfortable towel where she could sleep with her puppies. Fortunately, she understood that these people are going to help her! She became calm and friendly!
They named the family with the names of precious stones. They named the mother Jade, and the puppies Ruby, Diamond, Topaz, Emerald, Amber, and Amethyst.
During the night, the mother was not quiet because something worried her.
On the next morning, Stephanie called the rescuers. She let them know that she gave one of the puppies to her neighbor. This poor puppy was crying all the time as she was separated from her lovely family.
It was a mistake and the puppy was given back. This one was named Turquoise! Now the whole family was together after a while.
The young mother and her 7 babies were happily living there. They are safe and healthy due to the kind efforts of good people.
