Woman accidentally clicks a photograph of a giant bird towering over her friend

On that day Jenny Hough and her friend Jean decided to go on a day trip to Huntington Beach State Park in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. All they wanted to do was take loads of pictures of birds and local wildlife. They took a lot of pictures and were walking along the boardwalk when they came across an egret hanging out on the railing. He was not in the mood to fly, so Hough decided to click the moment.

While she was busy capturing the egret, Jean had walked about 15 to 20 feet further and she was focusing on another bird. But Hough didn’t notice that. She placed her mobile phone on the railing, as her camera was too close with the zoom lens to click the bird.

She took a few pictures without realizing that Jean was accidentally in the shot. After she realized that, she changed the angle. Once she had gotten a satisfying amount of pictures of the egret, she moved without checking on them.

While they were eating lunch, Hough began scrolling through the shots and realized that she had taken the most hilarious clicks accidentally. It looked like the giant egret is going to eat Jean! It is because of a trick of perspective, but the click was so natural! They both laughed at it and decided to share it online. Hough then posted it on social media and within a few minutes, everyone got quite a kick out of it.

It may be clicked by accident, but it’s now one of Hough’s favorite photos she has taken. And also she is glad that she took it and brought some joy to people who saw it!
