We all go ‘awwwww’ when we see a baby animal, and I guess it’s universal. So here, another adorable, cute baby chameleon, who doesn’t know that he’s born. This gives us a chance to see how these babies are inside the eggs.
Canvas Chameleon, which is a pet shop and breeder in Reading, Pennsylvania explained that this baby chameleon failed to ‘pip’ properly so that he had to be helped to be out of the egg. And what’s ‘pipping’? Yeah, it simply means, reptiles and birds use their egg teeth to be out of the egg. However, along with the mess of hatching the egg, the chameleon is safe and comfortable with his other brothers and sisters.

“I had to help him out of the egg. I don’t believe he would have been able to do it on his own as it didn’t pip correctly so I helped him out”
“If the egg pips on the side for some reason it can be difficult for the little one to push out as their head isn’t near the hole and I’ve actually had them push out other parts of their bodies like their yoke sac which ultimately end up taking their life”
