Nosey was a very aloof cat when he first joined the family, and he had always been an independent cat. However, his mom figured out that he could do with having a friend, which went on to be absolutely right. A year and a half ago, when Baby, the newest family member joined the two were inseparable. In an interview, the pair’s mom, Rosa Leger had this to say about the two: “They are legit BEST FRIENDS. They cuddle all day and play-fight 24/7. When I first got Nosey, he was a bit aggressive and very alone. This baby has brought sunshine into his life. He loves to play now and loves to cuddle his brother. He’s super protective over him and is always bathing him.”
For the first time, Ledger had to go away for a week, while leaving her two cats together, all alone. Although she had a pet sitter visiting them, they always went and hid away when she stops by. What she was worried about is that as Baby was very attached to Rosa, she was worried that he wouldn’t be able to cope without her there. This is when Nosey stepped in.
On a sunny day after she had left, their mom checked in on them on one of the cameras and saw the most adorable thing. As his mom was away, it seemed that Baby was feeling very anxious, and he was sitting in front of Nosey and without notice, he leaned into Nosey. Nosey, being the most loving brother, put his arm around Baby to comfort him. Being the most adorable scene, it showed that the two brothers loved each other very much.
Leger also went on to say: “He’s comforted his brother from the beginning. This experience has [definitely] brought them closer together. My little one loves his big brother even more. I can’t imagine how he would’ve been if he didn’t have his brother’s love and protection. I honestly didn’t think this kind of love could exist within animals, but it truly does.” When Leger came back home, both cats were so happy to see her and were meowing their hearts out. But, whatever said and done, they both knew that they would be practically fine without their mom, because at the end of the day, they had each other.
