A coffee shop in Greece lets stray dogs stay at night

People often abandon their pets when they have issues looking after them. Some are lucky enough to be treated well while all the others keep going their life as a stray. Stray dogs can be seen often in many countries. In Greece certainly, stray dogs are a problem. With over 1 million of them roaming in the streets looking for their next meal or place to sleep.

But some people make difference to such animals thankfully. Hott Spott is that kind of a different place for poor animals.

This amazing place is in Lesbos. During the daytime, it is another regular café that feeds people. But in the nighttime, it is a place that let pups sleep inside.

When the bar closes everyday night, the dogs come there and sleep. A waiter who preferred to remain anonymous said that they don’t have a problem with that.

According to him from July last year, there were dogs on the couch at night.

Lesbos is not only having a stray animal problem. It also has a refugee crisis. Eustratios Papanis, the one who took the picture that went viral said that the local has increased levels of solidarity towards environmental and humanistic issues. He is happy about the sensitive and well-informed younger generation.
