Christopher North, the legendary founding keyboardist of Ambrosia, has passed away at the age of 75, leaving behind a remarkable legacy in progressive and soft rock music.
The band announced the heartbreaking news in an emotional tribute, remembering him as the “Hammond B3 King” whose unforgettable keyboard sound helped shape both Ambrosia’s identity and an entire era of music. His creativity and talent became a defining part of the group’s signature style.
North co-founded Ambrosia alongside David Pack, Joe Puerta, and Burleigh Drummond, playing a major role in the band’s rise and success.
