If you are a dog lover you may have tried to capture photos of dogs for sure. And those who ever tried to do that know how hard it is even handling one dog. But this woman is the master of it. Not only one, but there are also 11 dogs.
Meet Melissa Lentz who fosters dogs through Releash Atlanta. All these 11 are very special and have a deep connection with her. She introduced those who were in this photo.
“Top from left: Mia, Pancake, Paxton,” Lentz said. “Bottom from left: Benji, Gizmo, Alex, Penny, Donny, Lula, Monroe and Rudy.”
Lentz says that seven of them are fosters waiting for homes. “Gizmo, Donny, Monroe and Rudy are mine,” she said.
And that perfect portrait is not just happened once. They are used to it. “I have tons of these photos,” Lentz said.
Sometimes she even manages to join them. But how does she get the perfect family portraits? Well, that is the deep secret here. It seems like she has formed a deep relationship with the dogs. You can see it reflected in the way they look at her in the photos.
“I literally just put them on the couch one by one and they situate themselves!” Lentz said. “I don’t use food [or] treats or anything. I just tell them to look at me.”
They are adorable and also very emotional and sweet. The fosters here are learning how to be comfortable in a home with the long-term hopes, that they will find forever homes of their own soon.
Thankfully they have found the best foster mom to help them on their journey.
