There’s something captivating about optical illusions and images that seem to play tricks on your mind.
These kinds of pictures have been around for ages, and while many come from the internet or books, this one is a real-life example.
In this image, there’s an “invisible” presence — but it’s not a burglar or a sneaky figure.
It’s a dog, cleverly hidden in plain sight.
Even those skilled in spotting optical illusions find this particular photo quite tricky to figure out.
Can you spot the big dog that’s right under your nose? Take a good look at the image below!
(And don’t worry if you can’t find it immediately. We’ll guide you through it step by step.)
As reported by 7 News Perth, a woman named Christina Suvo originally shared this perplexing image, claiming there’s a dog hidden within.
However, many viewers were doubtful at first, as the photo doesn’t seem to show any signs of life. But trust us — the dog is definitely there.
Can you spot him?
Here’s the full image of the kitchen. Do you see the dog now?
If not, don’t stress. We didn’t spot him right away either.
Let’s break it down like most people solve optical illusions: focus on smaller sections.
Start with the top left corner and examine each square carefully.
Found the dog yet? Here’s a hint: focus on square four.
Still can’t see him? Try looking closely at the lower right corner of the image…

It might still be a challenge, but you should notice a contrast between his lighter-colored stomach and the black carpet.
The arrows in the enhanced image show the dog’s eyes, ears, and belly.
Though it’s tough to distinguish a black dog against a black carpet, he’s definitely there. His light-colored tummy and pink ears are visible if you look closely.
If you’re still struggling, the image above highlights the dog.
You should now be able to clearly see his face — with his long nose, big adorable eyes, and an ear that’s flipped inside out.
The dog in the photo is an adult black Labrador. Labradors typically weigh between 65-75 pounds (30-35 kilograms), so it’s quite impressive that such a large dog managed to hide so well!
