Luna is an Australian shepherd puppy who was not even a year old. One day she jumped out of the yard and disappeared in an unknown direction.
Luna was saved by the youngest member of the family, six months old Bowen.
The loss of the dog was noticed on Saturday afternoon. The whole weekend was devoted to searching.
The family turned to Sandra Colston. She is a lost pet specialist. To help them, she made a handy search map with the key locations. They set a trap in which they put their clothes, hoping that Luna would come out for a familiar scent. But their tricks didn’t work.
The owners were even afraid that Luna had left her native area. So that they need to be looked at on the other side of the state. Also, the thoroughbred and very young dog can be ideal prey for dog thieves.
But fortunately, the camera spotted Luna nearby.
Soon, the son-in-law and niece of Luna’s owner were already there. They called the shepherd by name but, she ran away. Luna did not respond to her name. Her canine friends from a neighborhood yard also failed to lure her out of hiding.
The weekend passed and Monday came. The family set out again. Sister Myres her ten-year-old daughter and the youngest member of the family six months old Bowen sat in the truck. The rest of the others have scoured the area on foot.
When they were about to leave, the baby began to fuss and, then the aunt lifted him higher. Then Bowen screamed.
At that moment the miracle happened. Luna stepped cautiously out of her hiding place. She wanted to check who is offending her little friend. She was caught, taken on a leash, and then she was taken home.
The family was reunited. Luna became the playful puppy again.
