New Poll Shows How Americans View Donald Trump’s Leadership

Despite Donald Trump’s assertions that his second term has delivered “progress and strength,” a newly released national poll paints a far less optimistic picture of public opinion.

A CNN/SSRS survey conducted between October 27 and 30 among 1,245 adults shows Trump’s approval rating has dropped to 37%, a sharp decline from 47% in February and among the lowest levels recorded since early 2021.

The poll found that 63% of Americans now disapprove of his performance, with many pointing to ongoing economic challenges, rising living costs, and political instability as key reasons for their dissatisfaction.

Additionally, nearly 68% of respondents believe the country is headed in the wrong direction, citing inflation and the high cost of living as the issues most affecting their everyday lives.

Notably, just 10% of those surveyed named immigration — a cornerstone of Trump’s rhetoric — as the nation’s most pressing concern, while 26% said they are most worried about the state of U.S. democracy.

If you want it more dramatic, simplified, or optimized for social media, I can adjust it.
