Half a billion bees are dead in Brazil; what would be the earth’s future without bees

Bees are considered to be one of the most important species which are responsible for the survival of our beautiful mother nature. But latest news reveals that they are in danger. Bees contribute to the agriculture massively by pollinating process. As estimated, nearly a one third of the food that we consume on daily basis relies on the pollination which is done by bees. Brazil has shown these news about losing up to 500 million bees.

In Rio Grande do Sul , a state of Brazil there were more than 400 million of dead bees. Researches have revealed that use of the extreme pesticides have caused the death of these bees.

The main cause for these death is the use of prohibited pesticide products such as neonicotinoids and fipronil.  These products have been banned in Europe and several other countries all over the world.

It is really painful that humans have selected financial benefits over the well being of the earth itself.

As once Albert Einstein has said “humans would be extinct within 4 years if bees disappeared from earth”

The government has approved many unnecessary pesticides and the death of the bees have increased massively
